Incoming Energy Action CEO, Ivan Slavich, said: “Given the current volatility in the Australian energy market, it is even more important than ever for businesses and government departments to be considering their energy management strategies. Much has been said on the supply side in terms of a new gas peaking plant in SA, battery storage in SA by Tesla, an upgrade of the Snowy Hydro facility, but very little has been said in terms of the demand side equation. As a leading listed national energy advisory business, Energy Action is uniquely placed to play a key role in ensuring that customers are making the right decisions to manage their associated energy risks and opportunities. Demand side management, renewable energy generation projects and micro grid management as the Embedded Network Manager are key strengths for Energy Action.”

“Through my extensive experience operating in the National utilities market, and more recently advising Federal and State governments and businesses on strategy and business operations, Energy Action is well placed to grow its operations on a national basis with my leadership.

“I will leverage my considerable experience in establishing and growing utilities businesses and advising governments and businesses on management strategies to ensure Energy Action is well placed to continue to grow its footprint in the Australian market and deliver improved returns to its shareholders. I look forward to leading the team to great success in the future.”

Ivan’s strong leadership and strategic capability, combined with his extensive energy industry and sales and marketing expertise make him the ideal person to lead the company through its next stage of growth. Ivan’s immediate focus will be on driving improved commercial outcomes.”
