Edward was a founding employee of Energy Action and was an active Board Member between 2003 until 2013. He has been involved in the energy industry since the deregulation of the NSW electricity market commenced in 1997. His experience in bringing complex ideas to market in a dynamic marketplace keeps Energy Action at the forefront of change in the Australian energy market.
He has a strong background across energy pricing and trading, contract management and onsite energy efficiency and supply. Previous senior roles with Energy Action have seen him develop and refine systems and processes to ultimately support the growth of the Energy Action business. Most recently, Edward’s contribution involved the pioneering of a business unit to capitalise on opportunities presented by the convergence of grid side and onsite supply technologies across precincts.
In Edward’s current role, he leads our Advisory Services division focusing on advising our clients on practical solutions empowering them to make beneficial commercial energy decisions in respect of their energy operations, projects and strategy.
He is currently a fellow of the Australian Institute of Energy, a member of the Alternative Technology Association, and a member of the CEO Institute. Along with his honours degree from the University of Sydney, he holds a diploma in financial management, specialising in electricity derivatives.
